| At the beginning of July, the very first fashion tradeshows for Autumn/Winter 2010/11 began, and Mina UK started our tour with Bread & Butter Berlin. As one of the most prestigious tradeshows in the world, the Bread & Butter show attracts a vast variety of stores, from independent boutiques to legendary department stores from across the globe. Press, magazines and industry publications flock to browse the stands of the most respected names in fashion, so it was no surprise when legendary business magazine, Drapers, stopped to visit Mina UK. After a chat, they took pictures of our stunning new season Repertoire, Effy and Lola dresses, aswell as a snap of Danielle and Stacey, our wholesale managers, who looked amazing in their Mina outfits. The images were then chosen to feature in the next issue of Drapers magazine...and we can see why! Beautiful! |

It was the night that all of St Albans was looking forward to… The Dressing Room Christmas event!
As expected the night was an amazing success with crowds of people queuing outside the store before the event even started. Customers sipped Christmas inspired cocktails whilst browsing through the Dressing rooms wonderful collection of brands.
The Drapers award-winning store made a lot of customers very happy with their fully loaded goody bags and it was smiles all round by the end of the evening.

These industry-orientated events give journalists, stylists, editors and more, the opportunity to view collections and mingle amongst those of equal fashion status, swapping knowledge and assisting each other with the growth of their label. Mina UK participated in one such Press Day, held at the fabulous Sketch venue in London's West End. There, we sat alongside the likes of Ted Baker, Ugg, Strutt Couture & Firefox for an afternoon of liasing with fashion editors and management from the likes of Grazia, Vogue & Tatler. Over wine and canapes, V.I.P guests exchanged contact details, future plans and collaboration ideas, which will hopefully see Mina UK on the spread of every glossy magazine in Britain! This summer, like many in the past, Mina UK attended PURE London, but this time they attended it with a blast of style!
Mina UK set up their brand new stall at the main entrance of the arena, and our A/W 2009 collections were showcased on the catwalk at regular intervals, attracting an incredible amount of positive feedback and a queue of customers eager to indulge in their share of Mina. Each catwalk outfit was carefully selected to introduce the most unique prints and brightest colours, resulting in a stunning show that stood out from the crowd. The catwalk clearly inspired the buying audience, with crowds of people gathering around the stall, and pieces earning an instant "best seller" status

Magic has been connecting a global audience of serious buyers and sellers of a wide selection of men's, women's and children's apparel and accessories. With over seventy years in the making it's no wonder Magic is one of the best trade shows in the U.S.
With taking MinaUK to America for the first time we had not expected the response we received. Magic gave us delightful warm welcome and had shown a passion for Mina's style of dresses even pointing out "what a breath of fresh air".
The U.S. market is dominant to the Denim industry at the moment but from the reaction over the four days we had
seen a lot of interest from influential buyers, showing that we are on the right path of where the market is going, something "special" and "unique".
The show had been very generous as we now distribute from show rooms in Los Angeles and Canada and we are positive we will be back again in the "Fall", which we believe will be just as great if not better.

Bread & Butter trade show in January for the first time. "King Size" had been added to the show's name on account of more than 99,500 international fashion professionals attended.
With a busy stand all throughout the trade show MinaUK ended with a very successful result leading us to a spanish represent and clients from all over the world.
With such a good response Minauk will be attending Bread & Butter Summer 2008.
